During migration we map WooCommerce logic onto Shopify: variable products become variants, categories become collections, and Yoast or RankMath metadata is carried into product metafields. Your Baltic payment providers keep working — Montonio and Maksekeskus both run on Shopify.
The most important artifact is the URL map: WooCommerce’s /product/ and /product-category/ structure differs from Shopify’s, so every old URL gets a hand-checked 301. Google sees a proper move, not a new site — rankings survive.

Frequently asked questions
Do variable products carry over to Shopify?
Yes — WooCommerce variable products become Shopify variants, and attributes are mapped to options or metafields. Custom edge cases are reviewed one by one during the audit.
What happens to Yoast or RankMath SEO data?
Meta titles and descriptions are carried into Shopify metafields on products and collections. Combined with the 301 map, Google sees the same content — only the platform changes.
Does the store need to close during migration?
No. The old store sells until the go-live moment while we build the new one in parallel. The only “downtime” is the domain switch, which takes minutes, not days.
